Friday Report 21st Oct

The Legion entertained The Highways C at home this week. First on in the pairs were Brenden and Steve who won 2-0. Next up were Gary and Shuan who meet a pair on form and were thumped 2-0, last on in the pairs were Wyan and Dover who won 2-0.First on in the singles was Wyan, he lost the first leg bu won the next two winning 2-1. Steve followed with a 12 dart leg followed by a sixteen dart leg winning 2-0. Young Shaun was up next suffering a lack of conferdence and lost 2-0. Then it was young Brendens turn, he was suffering from double trouble in both legs and lost 2-0 making the score 4-3 to the Legion. Next up was Dover who won 2-0 to get the points. Last on was Gary who played very well as usual winning 2-0 to make the final score 6-3.

MAN OF THE MATCH
The British Legion travelled to West Bergholt Social Club,on there mind was last years result we lost 7-2 so we knew it was not going to be easy. First on in the pairs were Gary and Steve who had 2 cracking legs to win 2-0, On next were, Tony and Dover who also had 2 good legs, they also won 2-0, next up were the Legions young guns Brenden and Shaun, they came up against a pair on top form who finished the first leg in 9 darts 160, 140, 101 out, not bad for a double start. They lost 2-0. First on in the pairs was Steve who had a good game winning 2-0, he was followed by Gary who also played well winning 2-0.Next on was Tony he also won 2-0 making the match safe. Shaun was on next he suffered double trouble and lost 2-0. Dover also suffered with the doules and lost 2-0, Brenden was last on and pulled one back to make the final score 6-3 to The Legion.

Match Report from the Kingshead B, 19-9-11

The Kings Head B came out front runners in the Jeremy Soames Derby over the Head's A Team with an 8-3 win. The Kings Head B also welcomed new loan signing Stuart Hunt into the team to replace the absent Mick Frost. The Kings Head B got off to the best possible start as they won the first match of the night for the first time this season. Stu Hunt, LJ and Brenden beat Phil, Wayne & Rolf. The scores were soon level as Kev, Brownie and Tony lost out to Adie, Les & Karl despite Tony hitting a 180. The King Head B then run riot winning all the pairs. First up were Stu and Brenden who beat Phil and Adie 2-0. Kev and Tony then Struggled but overcome Rolf & Darren 2-1, and the same applied for Gary and LJ as they beat Wayne and Karl 2-1. With the score at 4-1 going into the singles, Brenden 'Cardy & Coke' Smashed Phil Platt 2-0 with great scoring to make it 5-1 to the Head B. Kings Head B Debutant Stu Hunt lost out to an impressive Wayne Boley 2-1. The match was then won as Kings Head B nominated MOM Tony 'The Wizard' Osborne powered past 'Dutch' Rolf 2-0. At 6-2, Michael Brown followed next but with a performance he'd rather forget lost to The Head A's MOM Darren 2-0. Kev 'The bang' Savory then made it 7 as he beat his mate Andy 2-0. Gary 'The Game' Campbell played last and looked ominous for defeat to Les but managed to turn it round 2-1 with Les missing darts to win it. The Kings Head B continue to scrape wins as they look to defend there champions status. The Football club up next, who also have started well with an 100% start.
